It is now mandatory that every property has an Energy Performance Certificate prior to a tenant moving in to a property, this legislation came into force in October 2008

An EPC must be carried out by an accredited Domestic Energy Assessor. The report contains information on your property’s current carbon emissions efficiency rate and indicates the potential that your property can achieve.
